Check In/Check Out

Check in time is between 3 and 7pm. If you expect to arrive after 7, please let us know so we can make arrangements for a late check in. Check out is at 11am.

Room Rates/Minimum Stays

All room rates are based on double occupancy. There is a $35.00 charge for an additional person (available in select rooms).

A two-night minimum stay is required for most of our rooms during peak season as well as weekends and holidays.  

Breakfast

Breakfast is served from 8:30-10am in the dining room.  We serve a hearty country breakfast, using fresh produce and cheeses from local farms and local apple smoked bacon and sausage.  Orange juice, coffee and Harney & Sons teas complete your breakfast experience. Breakfast favorites include thick French toast topped with blackberries and an asparagus frittata with carmelized onions and goat cheese. 

We’re happy to accommodate allergies or dietary restrictions (gluten free, dairy free, etc.). Please let us know of your needs when reserving your room or checking in. Coffee and tea are available every morning in the great room starting at 7:30am.

Children

The Manor House Inn is regarded as a quiet escape and romantic getaway for our guests. Because of this, we don’t permit children under the age of 13 except in special circumstances.

Pets

We love pets, however in order to ensure the safety and comfort of all of our guests, we cannot accommodate them at the Manor House Inn. We would be happy to recommend one of the wonderful boarding places nearby for your pet to visit while you stay with us.

Smoking

There is NO SMOKING allowed in any of our rooms or common areas. Any guest violating the no smoking policy will be charged a $250 cleaning fee. 

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible either by phone at (860) 542-5690 or email innkeeper@manorhouse-norfolk.com.

As a small business, cancellations affect us significantly. If a reservation is cancelled 14 days or more before your arrival date, we will provide a full refund, less a 10% processing fee. If you cancel between 2 and 13 days before your arrival day, we will attempt to rebook your room. If your room is rebooked for all nights reserved, we will provide a full refund, less a 10% processing fee. We will not be able to provide a refund if your room isn’t rebooked. We are sorry but we cannot provide refunds for same day cancellations.
