A STORY IN PICTURES
Anytime I have business in town, banking, the post office or a brew at the local pub, we take the short walk from the Manor House to town.
This time of year is especially beautiful. There’s something irresistible about a sidewalk covered with fallen leaves. Your inner child takes over and you just have to kick those leaves.
I take a left at the corner of Maple and Route 44 which leads to our small downtown.
The Wood Creek Bar and Grill is one of the restaurants in town where a lot of guests enjoy dinner before a show at the Infinity Hall. The Chef’s nightly specials are always a gourmet treat.
The walk to town is less than a half mile and there is a short cut behind the town hall that brings you down to the back of The Infinity Hall where there is also a Bistro that serves some of my favorite dishes: mussels and a lobster roll.
Downtown is bursting with color right now and we still have some week night rooms available. Give us a call and mention you visited our new blog. We are offering a 10% discount on Monday-Thursday nights stays. 860-542-5690.
