Murder Mystery Weekends

Experience the suspense and excitement of a murder mystery with your friends at the Manor House Inn!  Will you be a suspect, an accomplice or a murderer?

Have fun while learning about life in the Gilded Age. Murder Mystery characters are based on intriguing people who lived in and visited Norfolk at the turn of the century such as Mark Twain, world-renowned opera singers and Charles A. Spofford, the original owner of the Manor House Inn who risked going to prison to protect his boss, famed journalist and railroad financier Henry Villard.

Your fun-filled weekend will begin with a cocktail party on Friday night where you’ll mingle with the other characters. After a delicious full breakfast on Saturday morning, you’ll have the day to explore the area. On Saturday evening, you’ll enjoy dinner at the inn, where the “crime” will occur. You’ll spend the rest of the evening searching for clues and working with the others to determine who the murderer is- while convincing everyone of your innocence!

Character roles will be provided to attendees in advance and costumes are encouraged!  No experience necessary- just the desire to have a good time. The Murder Mystery weekend is available for groups of 10 to 18. Call us to check availability.
