Welcome to The Manor House Inn

Built in 1898, our elegant Tudor mansion is the perfect spot for your relaxing and romantic getaway– whether you’re celebrating a birthday or anniversary, attending a local concert or event, or just want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Enjoy the picturesque New England countryside at our lovely inn, tucked away on 5 acres in Connecticut’s Litchfield Hills.

Your journey to relaxation will begin from the time you enter the foyer with its grand cherry staircase. It continues in the Great Room with exposed wooden beams, a massive stone fireplace and comfortable couches. The 3-season sunroom overlooks the rear gardens and will beckon you to sit down with a glass of wine in the evening or a cup of coffee or tea before breakfast.

Savor the tranquility in one of our 7 spacious suites or 2 deluxe rooms, all with private en suite baths. Each of our suites is unique and offers a King or Queen bed and spacious sitting area. Additional amenities in our suites include private balconies, gas or wood burning fireplaces and oversized whirlpool and soaking tubs. No matter which suite or room you choose, your stay with us will be filled with endless relaxation.
