Weddings at Gedney Farm

Just across the Massachusetts border, in the quaint Berkshire village of New Marlboro, lies Gedney Farm.  This lovely farm has become one of the region’s most popular wedding venues- with historic barns with gambrel slate and cedar roofs and beautifully detailed dormers and cupolas.  With 37 acres of pastures and open meadows, Gedney Farm provides a picturesque setting for weddings.

Modeled after the great Normandy barns of nineteenth century France, the barns at Gedney Farm were built at the turn-of-the-century as a showcase for fine Percheron stallions and Jersey cattle. The classic buildings exemplify the expansive spirit and passion for excellence of the Berkshire’s gilded age.

If you are staying with us on a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday night, the Restaurant at Gedney Farm is an excellent dining option.  Offering a seasonal menu using locally sourced ingredients, you’re sure to enjoy a memorable meal.

The Manor House Inn is just brief drive from Gedney Farm.  If you’re attending a wedding at Gedney Farm, make sure you call us as soon as possible to reserve your room as there are limited lodging options in the area.  And consider staying an extra night so you’ll have the opportunity to take advantage of the many local activities, such as hiking, kayaking, wine tasting, antiquing, and more.
